How are your thoughts on HDR and the visuals they produce?

I really like using HDR because I love the final product. It makes the pictures more crisp and more appealing to the eye.

How did light affect your photo?

Using three different shutter speeds to get three different pictures with different lighting makes your picture bright and show details in every spot. I love the way the final product looks.

Sketchbook Cover

  • The quote that I decided to use for my sketchbook is "Love your family. Spend time, be kind and serve one another. Make no regrets. Tomorrow is not promised and today is short." This quote is meaningful to me because it explains the importance of family. To me without my family I wouldn't be the person I am today
  • I would describe myself as a fun and nice person. I also love to travel which is expressed in my photos by going to Jamaica. I also enjoy spending time with my family. This is why I but family pictures on my sketchbook to show how my family is important to me.
  • I do actually like the end result of my sketchbook because it expresses who I really am. I like how I put Jamaica in the middle of the sketchbook and the photos are around it in a collage. I wish I could of thought of a different way to incorporate my quote.

HDR NOTES
  • HDR means High Dynamic Rage
  • You increase dynamic range by merging different exposures
  • You need a tripod to take the photographs
  • HDR images can represent a greater range of luminance levels found in the real world
  • Non-HDR cameras take photographs with a limited exposure range, resulting in the loss of detail in bright or dark areas
  • HDR photographs gets almost every detail

Best Summer Picture

This is probably one of my favorite pictures that I took over the summer because I love how I captured her feeding the ducks and she didn't know I was taking the picture. I also like how she is in focus while the pond and the ducks are blurred. Making her in focused and the background blurred made this photo more interesting.
